I have a simple cylinder model (shell elements) & want to fix the nodes at the bottom of the cylinder. So I created a Named Selection which contains the nodes to be fixed by clicking through 'Named Selections -> Node -> Box Selection -> Scoping Method -> Geometry Selection -> select nodes in the graphics space -> Apply'. Next I click through 'Analysis settings -> Supports -> Fixed Support -> Scoping Method -> Named Selection' but no Named Selections appear in the pull down menu?!?! What am I missing here? |
