Hello everbody,
mc cpu has 8 cores. i have now 8 simulations to do, which will take a lot of time. What do you think is faster: - to run all 8 simulations simultaneously in serial mode - to do one simulation after the other in parallel mode with 8 cores per simulation? Best regards h0rst |

Hello h0rst,
Do one simulation in parallel mode with 8 cores. Simultaneously, you can check the residuals for solution convergence. So once after converging the solution with conclusive results, you can proceed with other cases promptly. Thank you |

For large cases I will check RAM etc. So may be 2 or 1 at most. |

If you run them serial, you need 8 solver licenses. Do you have them?
