Question Calculating force of nozzle using cfd-post?

Guys,
Monthes ago, created this topic:

But can I use CFD-Post to calculate the thrust?


Take a look at this screenshot:






I think we can use the calculator of CFD-post. look at the setted options. Using function "Force" we can calculate the force (Pressure + Momentum) on each boundry(for me I have four boundries named as inlet,outlet1,outlet2 and outlet3) and then we can plus all of the forces to obtain the thrust force of the nozzle. Am I right? Are all of my discriptions correct?

I looked at the calculation in the other thread you linked. The approach to sum the momentum over your domain makes sense, however, it seems you completely neglected the pressure present at the solid walls.

Using the CFD results it should not be too hard to get your desired value.
