Hello everyone,
i am trying to simulate fluid flow through a pipe in APDL with the use of FLUID116 element. My question is: is it possible for this element to calculate a heat transfer coefficient on its own, by providing dittus-boelter constants and an input mass flow? In all the examples i have seen a predefined HTC was assigned to SURF152 elements and calculations were done using this value. This approach does not suit my case though. Thanks in advance for any help. |
