Hello,
I have four different results files based on the same geometry and mesh, but with slightly different inlet conditions. What I would like to do is average velocity across all four cases at every point to generate a fifth case that represents the average of all four, which I can then post-process in the usual way to generate contour and vector plots, etc. Is this possible to do in CFD-Post? Apologies if this is an elementary question, I've tried to find the answer but haven't had any luck. Thank you in advance! |

Hey Shanny,
what you can do is restart a new simulation that interpolate the results from the previous one. When you start CFX solver, you can start from previous runs. It will interpolate between the given solutions. Maybe this can be a solution. Otherwise, you can export the data of each simulation in Ensight format ASCII and interpolate later "manually" with Excel the data. Obviusoly, this works well with a limited number of cells |
