modelling a beam with a load on free end
 
hello im doing a university project and i need to model this simple model, however i didnt study this software at undegraduate can someone help model this sketch using apdl? thanks

This is a very simple model which you will be able to create in no time if you look for basic tutorials.

i just need a quick model, then you could send it through email maybe in private message? i need it for a report for a different software i'm using for comparison but i have no idea how to use this.

So instead of taking like 0.5 hours to figure out how to do this, you chose to wait (> 1 day already) for somebody else to do it? I don't think there is someone here who will model a beam for you.


This forum is to help with specific issues using the software. If you get stuck, people are happy to help you, but you will have to show some effort of getting things done by yourself.

Also, the goal of an assignment is that you learn something. If you let someone else do it, I think you should opt for a different profession.
