Ansys aqwa fully submerged body!!

Hello,

I need your help on how to model fully submerged body in ANSYS AQWA. Currently I have a project that need to be done in AQWA for dynamics analysis of flexible riser and motion response of a "MID WATER ARCH". However, when i model the MWA in aqwa and set the structure to "Fully Submerged", an error pop up telling me that "structure #1 MWA is marked as fully submerged but its diffracting surface does not form a enclosed body. Can someone advise what i need to do in order to set my MWA fully submerged in water?

I met this problem too. Have you solved now? Could you please tell me the solution?

Hi,

Have you tried simplifying the structure to, for example, a box/cube, in order to determine if the geometry of the MWA is causing the problem?
