Structured 2D Mesh Smoothing

Hey there. Currently I am meshing a linear compressor cascade for LES-Simulations in OpenFOAM. Meshing requirements are accordingly high. I exactly know what my topology should look like.

I am meshing in ICEM and it works quite well. The only problem is, that i have an unavoilable skew at the cells upstream in front of the blade. ICEM orthogonal smoothing is working quite well everywhere else but here it is moving nodes in the third dimension even though the grid is associated to a surface.

How do i fix the mesh in 2 dimensions? Is it even possible or do I need to use other progams for meshing?

I am still working hard on my problem and I made some progress. First thing: I thought i associated all faces, but i wasn't. ICEM was smoothing in 3d therfor. But after associating the faces, the problem still existed in 2d.

Now i changed my strategy, but i am still facing problems. Most important question that needs to be answered is still the same:

HOW DO I SMOOTH A STRUCTURED MESH IN ICEM? For now only unstructured smoothing works, but its not suitable. I need to smooth a structured mesh.

Steps I am currently trying:

-> Convert to MultiBlock Mesh
-> Smooth Mesh Globally

Always ends in "segmentation violation". In my experience it's because i forgot some kind of important step
