Duct inlet suction modeling

1 Attachment(s)
Hello guys,

I have a duct and an air volume and what i am trying to simulate is the air flow from the air volume into the duct. By this i mean, i want to see how air comes into the duct. The problem that i encounter is that ansys always creates an interface between the duct and the air volume, and as far as i know, one can't attribute any boundary condition to an interface like inlet or outlet. Any idea will be helpful, many thanks! :)

You don’t need an interface between your duct inlet and the air volume.
Your inlet/s and/or walls should be on the surfaces around your air volume.
Specify which are walls and which are inlets.
Your air volume mesh needs refining; it’s way too coarse
