Hi everyone

Just a random question.
Can any sort of Ansys data or mesh files, or any sort of file during pre-processing, simulating, or post-processing be ported into COMSOL?

Just going through various simulation software packages and evaluating the pros and cons of each, I see that COMSOL is much more modular in terms of modelling than Ansys seems.

Also any recommendations for simulation software that is good at modelling rock mechanics, and thermal modelling on a rock face or within a rock.

Apologies for posting this into the Ansys forum. I could not see a forum for random discussion.

Any further insight is highly appreciated.

Thank you
