Looking for a way to download ansys fluent benchmark case as a student?
 

Hello everyone,

I am actually back in school for a second bachelors and I wanted to experiment with landing gear and airplane aerodynamic benchmark case for fluent. I tried logging in with my student email but I wasn't succssful. I know the benchmark case has more cells than the student license covers, but I am just wanting to be able to read the case file and see how mesh and physics setup is so I can make my own case. If anyone can kindly help me get either a way to access the case files for the benchmark, or even if I can find information on how they created the benchmark case so I can try to make my own version of it, that can run on student license, it will be appreciated.

I know this is a long shot, but Its worth a try =)

P.S. I don't know how stringent Ansys is with the benchmark cases and who can use it, so if this is not allowed, let me know.

I was able to request it throgh my lab customer portal. So yes the benchmark is only available to customers it seems.
