Y+ plus Komega SST model Wind turbine .

Hi guys,
I am using ANSYS FLUENT to simulate the flow and calculate the power output of a horizontal axis wind turbine. I am using the Komega -SST model. and this model gives a good agreement with a* exprimental case when the maximum y+ value is about 40.So the question is, is this value acceptable, or does it need to be less?

Whether your y+ value is good enough should be clarified through a sensitity analysis.
Did you perform a sensistity analysis regarding your mesh? That would be a good starting point to see an influence of the mesh density reagrding your power output for example. You will also see a change in y+ and whether it affects your desired output values.
