Hai,
I'm kinda new to ansys
I read some papers about hydrocyclones and i wanted to re-simulate what on those paper with objective to get the similar result (tangential and axial velocity profile)
I follow the papers data create the geometry, and made a good mesh for the hydrocylones
But then i stuck at the simulation (fluent) i don't know what to do
The tutorial in youtube was not similar to what the papers do, and even they not shown how to get the velocity profiles
Someone suggest me to use CFX, it's easier with just a quick setup and case the simulation just a single phase only (water)
But when i made the chart in CFX (turbo mode, velocity circumferential using line) the result were different
It made me confused, maybe something wrong or the result can only shown using fluent?
So i want to ask help for someone who ever simulate hydrocyclones or people who known full tutorial of it
The velocity profiles (chart/graph) that i want to get is shown below, most papers that i read have that kind of velocity profiles
