I set 10m/s inlet wind velocity in both cases. If I set a rotational speed of the rotating region, I can get the instantaneous moment in the sliding mesh case. Then I calculated the average moment and set the same value of spring preload in the dynamic mesh case which I can get the instantaneous rotational speed. When the turbine was stable, I can calculate the average rotational speed. However, this average rotational speed is quiet different from the value I set in the sliding mesh case. From a teaching vedio, I learnt that I can get the maximum linear velocity of turbine from Facet Maximum's velocity magnitude. And then this value is divided by the fan radius to obtain the rotational speed. Is that correct? Or I get the wrong moment value from the sliding mesh case?
