Creating multi-region model (but all zones act as a continuous fluid domain)

I have a simple 2D model (rectangle shape). I want to divide it into different regions and give each part variable viscous resistance values, but generally, all zones should behave as one continuous fluid domain.

I'm fairly new to Ansys, and your suggestions on how to do it will help a lot.

Assuming you are using CFX, They would all be the same domain, but you define the resistance values separately using subdomains. When creating the geometry/mesh, they should be a multi-body part or shared topology, so the meshing is conformal across the different regions.
