Hello everybody,
I am working on a model of an elektrical mashine and I want to convert a 3D model into a 2D model. But I have a little trouble by changing the calculation way. Because just chaniging the units from N/m² to N/m makes false results. The size off the numbers are still too huge. The deformation of the stator just by air gap forces are instead of µm in mm. From my point of view this is a result of the quantity of nodes. In the 3D model the force ist splittet on about 150 nodes in the 2D model the modified forces (N/m² to n/m) are splittet on just 9 nodes. So are there any possibilities in Ansys itself to reduce a 3D model to a 2D one? Or do you have any other ideas how I can solve this problem? Thanks |
