Hello Everyone,
I am working on a simulation involving small solid-phase particles (0-3 micron) and relatively low concentration (1%) traveling through a fluid. I am also using the particle collision option in CFX. I am curious how the program calculates the values for the variable "Particle.Particle Momentum Source." Does it only take into account interactions between the particles, or is it also affected by impacts with the wall? Ultimately, I'm curious if there is any way to quantify the magnitude of particle-particle collisions in the model. Any other insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Zach |
