hi All,
can anybody tell me Ansys Icepak is based on FEM or FVM(finite volume method). whats the difference. Flotherm is based on FEM or FVM? actually i want to buy any one software which should be good for natural convection.
can nay body suggest?

Ansys Icepak is based on FVM which slover is Fluent .Flotherm is based on FVM too. The two are both used in the cooling of electronic devices, and are very like each other.Anyone can work well. You can choose anyone.
