Parameters and Fluent in Ansys 12

Hi all!

I´m doing a rear wing with the new Ansys 12, and I need to simulate some variations of the flap (angle of attack and it´s position from the main airfoil).

I put these values as parameters in the modeler, and now I would like to know if I can automate the simulations and get the Cl and Cd of each simulation. I want to do a table with all the combinations and their respective Cl and Cd to choose most optimized version.

The dimensions are defined as Input Parameters. ¿How can I define an output parameter?

Thanks in advance!

Has somebody an idea?

In CFD-Post, click on Expressions tab, right click on the expression and select Use as Workbench Output Parameter.

Hi Jade!

Thanks for your answer, but I did it some months ago, and it worked perfectly.

Hi
i would like to change the boundary condition (i.e the heat flux at a wall) by 50 units each time and run the case till it converges. right now i am using the modification tool in fluent but i would like to know how to write it as a parameter and use it to define the boundary condition at the wall. Any help on this would be appreciated. Many thanks for replying.

with regards
