Ford Prefect is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I have had a lot of headache when migrating from openSuse 11.2 to 11.3 regarding Ansys Workbench (in general) and designModeler (in particular).

I understand that there are other distros that also have a lot of problems. Perhaps it is possible to collect some of the solutions to the problems here.

Problem: designModeler does not load under openSuse 11.3

Solution: I managed to get a working installation on one of my 11.2 machines and I simply copied that installation to my 11.3 machine. Now everything works nicely. Ok that might not have been a real solution but nevertheless it works.

I will try to copy it to a Ubuntu 10.04 installation and see if that works as well.
