Default bladegen tool for compressor modelling?

hi all
i am working on cfd analysis of the compressor. i am using bladegen tool for making the geometry of the compressor. Am i in the right direction? i mean me using bladegen is a right step? Is there any other tool/software for geometry creation of compressor?
