creating point masses in ansys

i am very new to ansys.. i am trying to create a model of cantilever beam with two point masses.One mass in the middle and one mass at the end of the beam to simulate 2 degree of freedom system.However I had problem when I create the point masses.It asked me to select the geometry but I dont understand what it means and there is no selection..Could anybody help me to create point masses.
