i have to do analysis on liquid storage tank using ANSYS. can u suggest any tutorial or write steps on modelling the tank

What are you trying to model? Sloshing in the tank? Vaporization of the liquid? Is it multiphase? A few more details will help with the recommendations.

Actually i have to do vibrational analysis of liquid storage tank in ansys, it includes sloshing and buckling at the foot of the tank

If you're modeling sloshing with a free surface, use the VOF model. See the following for a tutorial: http://mech.sharif.edu/~nematimehr/f...uent/tut17.pdf

Hmmm...it was a PDF file (adobe acrobat).

Try the following:
http://progdata.umflint.edu/MAZUMDER...n/dambreak.pdf

If that one doesn't work, try google. There are plenty of VOF tutorials out there.
