Hi, is there any simple way of determining the Reynolds number, or any non-dimensional number for that matter, at a point in a flow using ANSYS Workbench 13?

Create a custom field function: Define it as "density * velocity-magnitude / viscosity"
Then obtain the value at a point using a point-monitor. The reynolds number at that point is equal to the value of the custom field function TIMES a length scale. Make sure your length scale makes sense. Regards, Bill Wangard, Ph.D. President Engrana LLC |
