Create Point from Coordinates File in DM

ANSYS can be a vague word? It is really the name of the company and doesn't clarify which product you are using.

I am not an ANSYS Mechanical APDL (AKA "ANSYS Classic" or "BlackWindow ANSYS") expert, so for that question I suggest contacting TECH support or cracking open a dusty manual...

But if you mean in Workbench... more Specifically in DesignModeler...

Go to File => Create => Point...

In the details panel (bottom left), change the type to "construction point" and the "Definition" to "From Coordinates File".

You can look up the exact file format in the help, I think it was just X Y Z.
