Ansys V13 License Server problem

Our IT department is still struggling to make the Ansys v13 license server work. We had the same problems with v12 and it took more than two months to make it work.
With the previous versions - i.e. the 8 previous years - we never had problems with ICEM and Fluent licenses, but now is a recurring problem. I wonder if anyone else had (or is having) problems with it. (really hoping that this includes the s/w crackers, not only paying customers!) |

It is normally very simple to use if you follow the instructions. People get into problems when they don't and hack around it - its when people guess that they get into trouble.

Sorry to differ, but if it was simple, we wouldn't be having problems. And our IT has been in touch with support for the many months I have mentioned.

exactly what is the problem?
does it run and then crash after a while? do the logs point to anything interesting? server platform? |
