heat transfer using ansys

Hi ,

I spent much time trying to figure out how to make the heat transfer analysis for moving fluid inside pipe

all I want to do is to pass a flow of air into a pipe , have a cooler half way ,
and come out with the results (pressure , density , mass flow rate , temperature) at the end of the pipe

I'm trying with cfx now

please help

Aly,

Using CFX, you can define two domains (just the pipe and the fluid) and connect them through a thermal interface. You can impose a flux at the point the cooler would be and track the fluid, just set up the geometry in DM ("pipe in pipe").

Best regards,

Graham
