Hi,
I am an architect and I am new to CFD modeling, I want to do CFD analysis around buildings, can you suggest me a software for this. I also want compatibility of the software with a modeling software like autodesk revit. Any new suggestions are also welcome, as i am still exploring potential software and find a way how exactly this can be done. I need to do analysis for air movement around buildings, natural ventilation and heat transfer at boundary conditions at the building envelope. Thank you for your time and valuable advice. Regards, archi |

for a free and easy to use option, assuming you have any experience with Revit, check out Autodesk Project Vasari:

hi
it seems that your study is not very complex, most of the CFD softwares can help you solve your problem, if you wanna use the software of ansys, cfx and fluent are both ok. ansys workbench can also makes the data exchanging between CAD and CFD software easily. |
