The Parabolic Phenomena of a Spinning Fluid

2 Attachment(s)
Hi all,

I'm trying to simulate the parabolic phenomena of a spinning fluid (the phenomena is described in rotate-body.jpg)

I'm using Autodesk Simulation CFD and trying to simulate the simplest configuration as possible.

the rotating part is a cylinder with inner cone (pic1)
i created another part, which is the initial water level inside the cone (also in pic1).

I'm having difficulties defining the rotating part and water area.

could anybody help me defining any solution the solver can handle? i would really want to see the phenomena as demonstrated in "rotate-body.jpg"

Thanks in advance,
nyg
