how to use phase changing materials (PCM)

Hi there.
I'm about to install Autodesk Simulation CFD and I'd like to know if it is possible to calculate PCM (phase changing materials). If yes, how?

I'd like to use it in the false ceiling and use this product: http://www.micronal.de/portal/load/f...09_English.pdf

more info here: http://www.micronal.de/portal/basf/i...ursor=1_290814

basically it changes phase from solid to liquid when the temperature goes up to maintain the room temperature stable.

Any hint/tip/link/help is highly appreciated.
Thank you!
Guido

With some assumptions, you can approximate this by adjusting the specific heat Cp to vary in a piecewise linear fashion based on temperature. For example, water has a higher Cp for liquid state compared to solid ice state. At the transition point (0C) the Cp spikes above that of the solid Cp over a very narrow temp band. For temperatures outside this band, the Cp is set for the appropriate phase state.

how to define as a enthalpy-temperature relationships ? is it possible to apply enthalpy method for the PCM effect into Autodesk Simulation CFD?

A phase-change material (PCM) is a substance with a high heat of fusion which, melting and solidifying at a certain temperature, is capable of storing and releasing large amounts of energy.

PCM viscosity value?

Where can I find the viscosity value for PCMs produced by RUBITHERM company such as RT28HC and SP29Eu which is not available in their data sheet?
