CFdesign software for 64 bit machine -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

M_Marivani Guest Posts: n/a	Hello Guys, I have installed V8 of Cfdesin for 64 bit machine but I got slower speed on an identical analysis in compared to 32 bit machine. In 32-bit case, 97 iterations were done in 15 hrs while in 64-bit case for the same model, 77 iterations were done in 15 hrs. If someone have any comment about the reason, I appreciate to receive it. With this note that nothing else was running in the background when CFdesign was running. My other question: is there anyone who is using CFdesign on dual processors machine? How is the performance of CFdesign on it? Thanks all M.M
