Hello all,
I would like to know what other mesh files FIRE can read, apart from its own native. For example can it read a full volume mesh in ABAQUS *.inp format? Other there any other options, like CGNS for example? Thanks Vangelis |

Hi Vangelis,
Yes, you can import *.inp to AVL Fire, as well as *.cgns. I am just not sure if the names of the parts will go with it. Regards, Mack |

Which ANSA version are you using?
Try CGNS and see if it works |

Did you try all the available output CGNS options from ANSA?
Did you try to output in Unstructured NGON format for example to see if Fire can read it? |

When you output in CGNS format
there is a window where you specify the Unstructured format it is a pull down menu with the options Mixed Separated NGON try all of them to see if one works |
