Hi everyone
I have performed a spray analysis in AVL FIRE. Is there any way to get the cone angle, break-up length and penetration length for my spray? |

Could you explain your problem in detail? Are you using Spray ( Droplets) or your idea is to simulate primary break-up?

Hi!
for spray angle information you can make your user routine. However, if you use Lagrangian spray then the spray angle is predefined with the half outer cone angle - inside nozzle setup. The liquid penetration (breakup length) is defined in the spray properties (eg. 1% of total mass and so on.) and it can be viewed in 2D results (ofcourse you have to activate writing of penetratino in GUI) The penetration of vaporized fuel is also available... |
