Detailed Chemical reaction over combustion model

i am doing duel fuel (hydrogen-diesel) simulation. i have done training course in AVL Fire (2014.2) there i was informed that i cannot use any combustion model for simulation of pure duel-fuel (energy share less then 90% by gas) so i used detailed chemical gas phase reaction for simulation. now i have couple of questions
1) without activating combustion how can i get phi-t graphs.
2) i want to emphasize on why i have to use detailed gas phase reaction over combustion models in my project thesis so where can i get advantaged of gas phase reaction over combustion model (any combustion model available in avl fire).

With GGPR model Equivalence Ratio is not defined in the solver. You could write formula to create a derived variable based on fuel and O2 species mass fractions.

If you are looking for Equivalence Ratio which is not consumed by combustion ( similar to mixture fraction) then you need use additional passive scalar and user function to calculate equivalence ratio.
