Where does my simulation diverge?

Hello everyone,
is there a way to find out where exactly a problem diverges? Or how can I find out, what causes my problem to diverge? I am currently simulating a gasoline motor, 720 degree cank angle. At the BDC the problem diverges, I doublechecked the SST but can't find the error. By lowering relaxation factors and increasing the amount of iterations I get the simulation to run 2 more degrees, but I think there should be a less calculation intense solution, rather than working around the problem by lowering relaxation factors even more and increasing the number of iterations. I'ld be thankful for any hint on how to figure out, what exactly causes the problem to diverge. Also, what cell are the values in the .fla file and 2D-log taken from? |
