Swirl ratio-Turbulent Kinetic energy relation
 

Hello all,

Does anyone know what is the relation bewteen SR and TKE, provided all the details of engine geometry and operating conditions are known. I read somewhere that
TKE = SR X {Mean piston velocity^2}

Is it correct? Can anyone please comment on this?
