Hi girls and guys,

i am a working student from Germany and i'm working with STAR CCM+ since 3 weeks, so i'm a complete beginner. Also i'm not a native speaker, so excuse my wording.

For the analysis of a PEM-Fuel-Cell i need to plot the monitordata (residuums of different molecules) i a different programm (Uniplot) for optical reasons.

When i export the monitors (right click on a Monitor -> export ), the 2D (x: Iterations, Y: Values) data gets stored in a one-column -.csv File.

In the first row Star CMM puts in the name e.g. for Iterations over O2-residuum the first line looks like Iteration: Iteration,"O2: O2".

In the rows below all iterations and values are stored like e.g. 2,0.783487223560171 which means second iteration with a value of 0.783...

1. For further handling in the second Software the name is not allowed the contain any quotation marks. Is there a chance to change the name before exporting?

2. To automate the whole exportation-process it would be great write a script which iterates over all monitors an store them in one folder. I didn't find a useful solution in java script, in case the names of monitors are not known before.

[EDIT]
3. It would be practical, if the Iterationnumber and the corresponding value could be seperated in 2 different columns. Is there any chance to do that?

It would be great, if someone could share hers/his knowledge with me.

Greetings from Aachen
