Number of layers for moving piston

Once again: does any body know if the bulit-in NCYL number (1-14) is fixed at 14 layers to be Ac(De)tivated in the simulation of a piston motion of piston engine??

I was wrong, NCYL can be changed according to the cell numbers in the application.
