Computation of Lift and Drag
 

For a subsonic external flow of an object of length L, what could the suggested computational domain to capture the velocity and flow profiles well.

The inlet I thought we could define thru' velocity and outlet thru pressure conditions. Is it OK.

What is the suggested approach to compute the lift, drag, moment coefficients, Xcp in STAR-CD code

1.You can use POSDAT.f to edit what you want. 2.The variable FORCB(I,IB) OF POSDAT.f is the global force at boundaries IB.And the index I is: I=1,X-dir I=2,Y-dir I=3,Z-dir
