S.O.S.!!Fortr ERROR 174 in COMPAQ UNIX SYSTEM
 

I have this configuration: 1)STAR CD Version: 3.100B 2)DS20E Compaq 3)Operative System : Compaq tru 64 Unix 4.0f 4)Fortran compiler: f90 As soon as I start post-processing,after this comand Load Data, Open post file , Data, Get Data , the program crash!!! Please Help me!! The same if I check right handed cells and program finds errors.

We use the same configuration and had the same error while opening post-data. Try to install batch level 513. The option should be "Prostar 512 for Alpha computers" when you run INST_RLS from the installation CD-ROM. This option installs batch 513.

I have tryed to install batch level 512 but nothing. Please send to me the Operating System Level in your configuration : I have a Compaq Tru64 Unix 4.0f

hi lorenzo, we also use Tru64 Unix 4.0f; an other topic could be, that you use the wrong fortran compiler; use the 'f77 -what' or 'f90 -what' command to see the compiler version. we use V5.2 for both. If nothing works you have also the choice to run STAR with a static memory executable 'USER GUIDE 19-18' best regards, christian
