I tryed to build the grid in spherical coordiate.

The conditions that I put in the box was like this.

R 0 10 10 theta 0 180 10 phi 0 90 10

If then, there is surface crack messages for the checking grid.

Error number is #75. Do you have any ideas for this message and using the spherical coordinate in prostar?

I tried what you did, and yes you wind up with some vertices which are not mergred. So, this means that the grid which was generated is not completely connected. Therefore, you get the crack error(s).

To fix it, do the following:

When you check the grid for cracks, use the "new set" option and put the cells which violate the crack checker in a set.

Then issue the following: vset news cset cset add vset any cset subs fluid vset news cset vmerge vset

This will merge the unconnected vertices and subsequently fix the cracks.

Check the grid again, and the cracks are gone.

Have Fun.
