I Need Advices...

Firstable I work now with Prostar mesh generator, and then with Proam. So I hope that those 2 mesh generator aren't different (I mean with commands...) I am doing a mesh of a detailed piston in 3D. But according to the complexity of its geometry I have to make firstable a 2D-"cut" of it, and then I will make a rotation around his own axis. In that way I have already finished the 2D-"cut". But the 2D mesh isn't ready, I think, because I just used Shell amd Patch commands. So now I am trying to generate the revolution, and I did with VCEXTRUSION command. But this is not a complete 3D geometry. Now I think that I will create a Block with all my results of VCEXTRUSION command. Therefore I won't be able to do it because I will never have 8 corners as regards the cylindrical system. Also I will try to create Splines around the circumference to be able to create my block and then MESH!!! So this is my way, if you can help me that's would be great.
