CFD Online Discussion Forums - STAR-CD v3.15 for HP-UX 11i on HP's Intel Itanium

The CD adapco Group is pleased to announce the release of STAR-CD version 3.15 for HP-UX 11i on HP's Intel Itanium-based line of technical computing platforms. These new STAR-CD binaries are a full recompile on HP-UX 11i using the native IA-64 instruction set, achieving performance advantage from the native Itanium instruction set.

In the future, the CD adapco Group plans on releasing IA-64 HP-UX 11 native binary support for all its STAR-suite applications, including pro*am and "EZTools" - a set of application-specific CAE software products.
