I'm studying a radial fan using Star-cd, but i don't know how to perform a transient analysis with a sliding mesh. Is there some procedure to follow? Sliding interface...mixasi.... Thank you. LORENZO

Yes, have a look at the tutorial. The example with the mixer is similar to your application.

Yes, i read the tutorial. I performed a stationary calculation using MRF,on a simplified geometry, but i think it's the right way also for the whole geometry...isn't it? For the transient case i tried with mixasi facilities (see tutorial), but i had some problems, and i don't know if mixasi is right only for mixing vessel or also for a radial fan for cooling or motor engine. Thanks.

If I perform a transient run with mixasi command witha tethra mesh the sliding interface must be identical?
