Does someone know if there are some calculations prooving that Star-CD is a really good tool for droplets evaporation/combustion simulations?

Yes... It's possible to solve it. And accurate also.... But it need to be carefully treated...

The theme of my Thesis was just that ; liquid fuled gasturbine combustor.
