Mpcci Code coupling
 

Is there anyone out there that has got hands on experience on coupling codes with the Mpcci interface? How does it work with Ansys coupled with Star CD? There's information about it on www.mpcci.org but I havn't seen any hands on examples. Best regards, /Jonas

The MpCCI Interface in STAR-CD will be available in the next STAR-CD release (v3.2) scheduled in september 2002. At this stage, STAR-CD will be able to be coupled with Permas, ANSYS and Msc.MARC. For the moment, only partners can use the implementation, and several examples have been tested succesfully using the coupling with Permas (Sulzer polymer mixer, DaimlerChrysler fuel tank). The ANSYS or Msc.Marc coupling is still under development.
