Dear All,

I want to get area average of a scalar over a curved section plane/surface. Say over a curved surface of cylinder. Integ command works for planar surfaces. If we have shells we can do that by summary command but I do not have shells since it is section which is passing through cells. help requested....

Define a set shells which make up the curved surface. Then use the PMAP command to map the scalar to the shells. Then you should be able to use the summary command on the shell set.
