Hello,

I'm an engineering student involved in a CFD - projekt. In this projekt i use STAR - CD VERSION 3.15 to solve an aeroacoustic problem. After the analysis, when i try to display the results ["getu,.aarc,,both, coded,,,init"] i receive many warnigs:

**WARNING - ATTEMPTED TO INPUT VALUE FOR CELL OR VERTEX NUMBER 1080936.THIS IS LARGER THAN THE ALLOWABLE ( 300000). RECORD SKIPPED. **WARNING - ATTEMPTED TO INPUT VALUE FOR CELL NUMBER LESS THAN ONE ( 0).RECORD SKIPPED.

My problem is, that i can't comprehend this message, because i don't exceed the 300.000 cells. What must i change? Can i expect that the results are the same, when the warnings are displayed ? Who can help me ?

Many thanks in advance

Christoph

Brouse aeroacaustic messages posted some time ago in this forum, try compressing cells, deleting vertices which are not associated to cells. apply following commands with due care, cset all ccom all vset news cset vset inve vdel vset vcom all

compressing the cells may make the pst file unusable. So beware if your computation time is too much.

The most likely answer is that your data file is not in a consistent format or possibly corrupt. Look through your file to see if the number 1080936 exists somewhere and if that record is somehow corrupt.
