Could you please be more precise with "wont run on it". What's the problem?

3.2 it is announced since 4 month and in the last issue of "CD adapco Dynamics" but as far as I know CD it will take another three or four month as a minimum. (They are worldchampions in announcing something)

I think you need a patch (036?). Ask star support to get it.

as i didnt personally put it on i cant tell you im afraid, think it is a library problem, either way it doesnt work and i am stuck running a windows version on a slow computer! Will give star a bell i guess, as you say they are world champions at annoucments, i think the release of 3.2 must have been announced a least 3 times, at this rate by the time 3.2 is out i will be drawing my pension (so only another 40 years to wait!)

o.k. if it is a library problem ask your local office that they should provide you with precompiled libaries. This was the only way for us as we tried to install v.315 on our linux red hat9.0 cluster. Without this help from cd it was not possible to install it. The reason for this is actually the horrible absoft fortran compiler (underscore problem).

I think your probelm is the Absoft Pro-Fortran Compiler. Absoft Pro-Fortran is necessary for the linux-version STARCD. However, Absoft Pro-Fortran is not exactly compatiable with Red Hat 9.0. Therefore, you cannot perform the solver when Absoft Pro-Fortran does not work. All you have to do is to download new libraries from Absoft company to fix this problem. That is my experience when I have STAR-CD installed at my linux machine.
