Has anyone experience in simulating spray? I'm now beginning to study this problem and I'll appreciate all yours reply about general settings and any important detail! Thanks in advance

Refer to www.adapco-online.com >> multiphase modeling Maybe it useful to achieve good results in modelling such case.

I'd like to modelling fuel direct injection in a combustion chamber. So it's very important to simulate the real behaviour of spray for a realistic model.

I have no experience with the spray models in star-cd. If you have measurements of the droplet size and velocity you could inject the droplets in just the same way as you measurements using the droico.f user subroutine. Getting this information could be hard.

The spray models in Star aim at mimicking the atomisation process at the nozzle exit provided you have the right injection shape. That is the most difficult information to gather for a user.
